Bookish Naughty or Nice Tag

I was actually tagged by Krista at The Bookish HedgeMom to do the Bookish Naughty or Nice Tag, and it seems like fun, so I’ll give it a go!  You should also go check out Krista’s blog as well and show her some love if you’re not following her already.

So before we even get to the tag, if you wish to do this one, consider yourself tagged!

The Rules

  • Tag and link the person who tagged you (because they probably want to drop by for a visit!)
  • Tag and Link Jenn
  • Tick or cross off the ones you’ve done
  • Tag another 10 people!

Like Krista, I’m going to assume 1-10 points is nice and 11-20 points is naughty. Anyway, let’s get to this!

Naughty or Nice Book Tag

Received an ARC and not reviewed i

Technically no, since I still have time to read the two ARCs on my NetGalley shelf as they won’t be published until 2020.  I should get on that though.

Have less than 60% feedback rating on Netgalley

I’m just above it at 67% !!

Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did)

Yeah…. I tend to forget and go back to add my reviews to the books I’ve rated.  That’s going to have to be a goal in 2020 – to go back and add in those reviews and keep up on them.

Folded down a page of a book

No!  I will use whatever is nearby to mark my page.  If anything, I’ll type the page number in my phone so I don’t forget it later.

Accidentally spilled on a book

Not to my knowledge.  I doubt it, because I would’ve been devastated if I’d had.

DNF a book this year

Seven, actually.

Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it

No, but I have thought of it.  Then I remember that I won’t actually read it so… I behave.

Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else

Ah, what bookworm isn’t guilty of this?  I would read when I was supposed to be doing homework while in college/grad school, and now it’s instead of housework.

Skim read a book

I can’t do it.  I mean, I’m a fast reader, but I don’t skim.  I need to know all the happenings of a book.

Completely missed your Goodreads goal

I have never.

Borrowed a book and not returned it

No, I’m pretty good about returning my books.  I’d feel way too guilty if I didn’t return a book.

Broke a book buying ban

ALL THE TIME.

I’m always saying I’ll be good and not buy new ones for a while, but then I see one that I can’t resist.  It’s a terrible cycle.

Started a review, left it for ages, then forgot what the book was about

Possibly?? *sweat drops*

Wrote in a book

No, no, no!  I didn’t even write in my textbooks for school.  I find it very distracting when there are notes/highlights.

Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads

Nope. That’s my main way to keep track of the books I’m reading.

Borrowed a book and not returned it to a friend

Same as the answer above about borrowing.  I’d feel super guilty

Dodged someone asking if they could borrow a book

No.  I don’t get this question too often, but even so, the people that do borrow my books are good at taking care of them and returning them.

Broke the spine of someone else’s book

Nope.  I don’t even do that with my own!

Took the jacket off to protect it and making it more damaged

I don’t ever take the jackets off.

Sat on a book

Can’t say I’ve done that.

Total Points: 5/20

divider new

Well, I did a lot better than I thought I would!  Does this mean I get to reward myself with buying a new book (or five)?

Once again, if you like this tag and want to join in, consider yourself tagged!  I’d also love to see your answers!
