2020 Book Blogging Goals – BYNC

Happy New Year everyone!  I know everyone has probably said it, but I can’t believe how fast 2019 went by!  I actually had a pretty good year, so I’m looking forward to what 2020 will bring!

Anyway, to kick off my blogging in this new year, I joined Tabatha’s Bookish New Year Challenge to do some prompts for the next two weeks to get a roll on my posts for this new year, as well as meet some other book bloggers!  The first prompt is 2020 Book Blogging Goals, so here are mine!

2020 Book Blogging Goals

1. Reach 400 followers on my blog (current 218)

If I can gain just over 200 blog readers/followers in 6-7 months of blogging, I don’t think it’ll be too hard to get another 200 (well, just under).

2. Set up a regular schedule for posts

I’d like to set maybe two days a week for reviews, then one or two other days for regular bookish type posts.  If anyone has any tips for this, please share them.  I’ve never had a successful blog schedule before.

3. Hit 500 followers on Instagram and 700 on Twitter

While it’s not my direct blog, I link my blog to both Twitter and Instagram and promote it there.  I love sharing and talking to the bookish community on both apps.  I currently have 379 on Instagram and 563 on Twitter.  Again, not a bad goal to reach for either one.  I’m probably aiming a bit low, but that’s okay.

That’s pretty much all I have for blogging goals.  I try to keep maintenance a regular thing (changing images, fixing links, etc.) so that’s not really a goal for me.  Then again, having too many might overwhelm me, especially on top of my other goals and resolutions for this coming year.

What are some of your goals this year?

These are some pretty great goals and I think totally achievable! 😍 2019 ended in such a whirlwind that I haven’t had much time to really think about what I want to do in the coming year haha I’m hoping to sort it out this weekend! Good luck with the goals and happy reading 🥳
