Hey everyone! I’m back for Day 3 of the 2020 Bookish New Year’s Challenge! How is the start of everyone’s year so far? It’s always kind of weird to get back into the swing of things after a holiday, especially Christmas and New Year’s since they’re so close.
Anyway, today’s prompt is fairly simple since I actually did a similar post at the end of December. The prompt is Must Have Reads of 2020, so I’m just going to share the covers of the books and drop the link to my previous post of what 2020 books I have to read.
Must Have Books of 2020
So out of these five books, I think the one I’m looking most forward to is actually Love & Olives, though One of Us Is Next is a super close second. I just love how Welch has that theme of travel and love in her books, more so the travel because the way she writes makes me feel as if I’m in those countries the stories are based in.
After that I’m excited for Ember Queen despite the fact I still have to read the first two books. I just think it’s going to be an excellent series to read, so I’m glad that I started it later than others. And then the last two books I’m looking forward to reading, or at least trying to, as they’re not in my usual genres that I like to read. Nor have I really gotten into A Court of Thorns and Roses, so I’m not sure how I’ll react to the newest Maas book.
What are the books you’re looking forward to this year?
I’m so excited for SJM’s new book!! I’m excited to see what you think, as someone who isn’t already a hardcore fan. lol I look forward to your review, if you choose to post one. 🙂

I most likely will either way, whether I get through it or not, lol. Just to say why I wasn’t able to get through it at least, or hopefully, why I loved it (I’m really hoping to love it!)

I really enjoyed Love & Gelato and Love& Luck, and I just realized that there’s another book coming out! I’m so excited to see what happens in Welch’s new book!

I still need to read ‘One of Us is Lying’! It’s top of my TBR for next month :))
