This is something I’ve had for a few years, and I’ve been meaning to share it with everyone. I finally got around to it now that I decided to update my jar because not only did I read a lot of the titles that were in there from the past few years, but I also had a lot of new titles to add in.
I’ve only used my TBR Jar a handful of times, but it’s always fun when I do. Picking a title at random when you have no idea what to read is exactly what you need sometimes. It’s easier than trying to figure out what kind of mood you’re in so that you can choose a book. Although sometimes I have to draw a few titles because I’ll pick one and realize I’m not in a fantasy mood or romance mood.
For anyone who hasn’t seen a TBR Jar before (though I doubt you haven’t) here’s the photos I took while redoing my own jar.
As you can see it’s a pretty simple process of putting one of these bad boys together. I actually think I need a bigger jar for all the titles I want to read, so I just stuck with some of the ones I own and have easy access to. But again, it does come in handy when I don’t know what to read next or just want to pick a random read!
Do you have a TBR Jar or something similar to pick your next read?
I should totally try this. I need to stop staring at my TBR and say “I don’t know what to read!”

That is such a good idea! Especially since I get decision fatigue. Love it 🙂 Cute scissors, too!

You’ve made yours so cute! I always think about doing this but I end up just giving myself lists of what to read instead.
