5 Book Series Recommendations

August 27, 2020June 15, 20222 Comments

In order to get myself back in the groove of blogging, I'm here with some recommendations I had written up in a notebook but hadn't gotten around to typing up yet. We all love our books that come in a series because we get to stay with our beloved characters a bit longer. Most series … Continue reading 5 Book Series Recommendations

August Blues

August 25, 2020June 15, 2022Leave a comment

This month has been terrible for me reading-wise. It's the 25th of the month, and I still haven't finished one book (GASP). So... guess that means my August TBR List was a bust. Oops. If I'm being honest, I'm having a hard time mentally right now. It's like anything I try to do that I … Continue reading August Blues

Review: Jek/Hyde

August 17, 2020June 20, 20212 Comments

Lulu and Jek are science nerds, and have been best friends since they were young…or at least they used to be. Lately Jek has been pulling away from Lulu, just as she's coming to terms with how she really feels about him. Just as she was ready to see if there could be something more … Continue reading Review: Jek/Hyde

1777. Albany, New York. As battle cries of the American Revolution echo in the distance, servants flutter about preparing for one of New York society’s biggest events: the Schuylers’ grand ball. Descended from two of the oldest and most distinguished bloodlines in New York, the Schuylers are proud to be one of their fledgling country’s founding … Continue reading Review: Alex & Eliza

Books I’d Love to See as Films

August 8, 2020June 11, 20224 Comments

As readers, we always prefer the books over the movie. However, that doesn't mean we don't like to see our favorite characters and stories come to life on the big screen (or our TVs/laptops). I have to say that I can't really complain about a lot of the movies I've seen that were based off … Continue reading Books I’d Love to See as Films

Where To Find Clean Fiction for Your Teen

August 7, 2020July 8, 2022Leave a comment

One thing that I know is that some parents want their kids/teens to read clean fiction. It's sometimes a request I get at work when parents are trying to find books for their teens. Some young adult books I've gone through in the past sometimes aren't that appropriate for teens... or at least I'd think … Continue reading Where To Find Clean Fiction for Your Teen

July Wrap Up

August 1, 2020June 15, 20223 Comments

First of all... I failed my book-buying ban for July. I made it so far into the month without buying books, then broke on the 25th. Though, doing the math, I did make it 28 days without buying a book, so that counts... right? I didn't read as much as I thought I would this … Continue reading July Wrap Up

One of my favorite manga series. It’s so cute (and only 3 volumes!). I definitely recommend this one to anyone new to manga so they don’t get overwhelmed😅
A series I highly recommend. It’s 12 books long, but you wouldn’t know it with how fast it goes by. Eye opening and intense is the best way to describe it.
My review for Love on the Brain is up on my blog! Even though I have a bad relationship with science, I enjoyed reading about women in STEM.
#QOTD: Do you read graphic novels?
Already started a book for the #tbrtacklechallenge! Going with the shortest book since I do have to get it back to the library soon 😅
Happy February all! January was a rough month for me personally, so here’s hoping this month is filled with better news and blessings!
