I mean, how true is this quote? Especially over the past two years. I never in my wildest dreams thought we’d be in the state we are now with this virus running rampant for as long as it has. I never even thought there’d be a worldwide pandemic. And that is just in addition to all the other issues we have in the world, with wars, trafficking, and other global crises that don’t get nearly as much attention as they should.

Then there’s the day-to-day weirdness of life. Just those little happenings when you stop and say, “Really?” because how does stuff like this happen? What goes through peoples’ minds. I see a lot of weird things just at work and wonder about the human race. I shared a few examples last year in my Weird Happenings at the Library post. Honestly, I think if you want to know some weird things that people do, just ask a librarian. We’ve seen it all, and more.

Plain and simple, life is weird. Whether it’s our circumstances or the people we’re around.

Real life doesn’t make sense. Fiction does.
