In June I shared a post listing what books I had out from the library. Since I stocked up for my upcoming medical leave from work, I thought it’d be fun to share this haul of books that I have out from work. I had gone a little overboard in July, taking out nearly twenty books at once, but I skimmed through some and tried to eliminate some off of my TBR, or just what I know I won’t be reading right away.
So, let’s see what I currently have out.
Books I Have Out From the Library

The Librarian Spy by Madeline Martin
I will probably prioritize reading this one, as one of my co-workers is on hold for it, and possibly another patron. I just need to finish the books I’m currently reading first.
The Remedy by Suzanne Young
This was the book I first saw out of The Program series before realizing it’s composed of three duologies, and this book is the first of the prequel duology to The Program. Now that I’ve finished the original duology, I can move onto this one.

My Secret to Tell by Natalie D. Richards
I’ve had this on my radar for a while, so I finally checked it out from work. We seem to have multiple copies of her books, so I don’t feel to bad about keeping this one hostage for a bit, haha.
The Crown Heist by Deron Hicks
I’ve been waiting for this to come in for a while, and I’m glad it did before I go on leave. The Lost Art Mystery series has been one of my favorite contemporary middle-grade reads this past year or two. I’m kind of hoping this won’t be the last book.

Today Tonight Tomorrow by Rachel Lynn Solomon
A new arrival at work, and luckily we got two of them, so I had no hesitation in grabbing a copy to hold hostage… er, I mean, read.
A Show for Two by Tashie Bhuiyan
I’ve had this on my TBR list since I saw it on NetGalley (I think it was there) and luckily our teen librarian ordered it. So you know I nabbed it as soon as it came downstairs from processing.

Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin
I’ve only read one book by this author before, but I loved it, so I was definitely happy to see that she writes YA as well. This one just sounds interesting, and I think it’ll be a good read.
Sugar and Salt by Susan Wiggs
If you know me, I’m more of a YA/NA reader than anything. I don’t typically read the books that the “real” adults read. Or, you know, the typical authors that have been around forever, but this cover popped up on our catalog and it pulled me in, and once I read the synopsis, I went right to the New Fiction book shelf and grabbed it up!

So, yeah, that’s quite a few books, but I will be out of work for two weeks. Although, I did have even more out this time last week, but I returned the ones I didn’t think I’d actually read (or read anytime soon). Not to mention that I just bought a few new ones that I want to read soon. I like to keep my options open, you know?
How many books you do normally take out from the library at a time?

I hope your leave goes smoothly, and that you enjoy all your books! I used to take out huge bags full of books at a time when I physically went to the library. Now that I use the e-library, I usually only borrow one or two at a time!

Thanks! Yeah, I don’t take many out of the e-library at a time. Maybe like one every few months lol

Nice haul! I usually take out a ton of books at once when I go too, though sometimes I don’t get to them all. I do at least glance through them and make a note if I want to check it out again at a later time.
