October started off strong, but like a couple of years ago, I’ve hit a slump. I think this time it’s because some of the last few books I’ve read were just “meh.” That, and I think a seasonal depression has hit, as I’m getting bored with pretty much anything I do. Even blogging. I was a month ahead on posts and had them all scheduled up until writing this one, and now I’m scrambling to get some ready to schedule. However, I do have a reserve of review posts… I just don’t like to post too many of those in a row.
Anyway, onto my October Wrap Up!

Young Sheldon | HBO Max
I actually started watching Young Sheldon when it first started airing, but after I started working Thursday nights, I was missing the new episodes and fell way behind. So once my mom and I finished our binge of The Big Bang Theory, we started this from the beginning again. This show is definitely funny and cute, but I have to say it doesn’t compare to Big Bang, though that might be because I miss the other characters of TBBT. I will say I love Georgie’s accent the best, and the things he gets himself into, and Iain Armitage does very well portraying a young version of Sheldon Cooper. We’re actually caught up on the series now, so now it’ll be one episode a week like everyone else in the world.
Another show I’ve been rewatching in random order is Victorious. My favorite characters were always Andre and Jade, but now Cat is added into the mix. I’ve always appreciated Ariana Grande’s performance as Cat Valentine, though I wish she’d had more opportunity to sing on the show (but then again, Victoria Justice was the lead role, so what did we expect?). I actually think they did Cat’s character wrong, as she just got dumber and more childish as the show went on (kind of like Joey in Friends), but what can you do? She’s a great character regardless.
I’ve also watched a couple episodes of Sam & Cat, but I haven’t been fully invested in watching that show just yet. I didn’t care for it when it was on the air, but now that I’m a Cat fan, I’ll probably get to it soon.
That’s all for my October Wrap Up! Despite hitting a slump at the end, I’m pretty happy with most of the books I’ve read. I did also mean to watch the Netflix movie of The School for Good and Evil but didn’t… yet. I’ll get to it in November when I’m not in such a slump of life.
Great job on your reading!!
