Most Anticipated Books of Early 2023

Good news today, I’m negative for Covid, finally! Still have a dumb cough though, and I heard it can last a while. Whatever, it’s better than feeling like total trash. Now I just need to build up my stamina of moving around again, and exercise.

I’m not even sure if I have ten books for this list, but I’ll find out as I add them. I’m going to include a book or two that has been released already either last week or today if there are any; after all, they technically are 2023 releases. It’s been hard to concentrate on what’s coming out when I’m trying to read the books I already own, haha.

Top Ten 2023 Releases I’m Excited For

I still have to read Sense and Second Degree Murder, but I loved Price’s first Jane Austen murder mystery book, so I think I’ll enjoy that and this one just as much.

I do have an eGalley for this one that I plan on reading within the next two weeks before its release.

As always, it’s hard to narrow down the list to just ten books. There are so many good books that I read this year, which is why I included the honorable mentions. There are still a few that I didn’t mention, but I can only mention so many. I did read a lot of great books this year, but I think next year I’m going to try to slow my reading pace down a bit. While it’s cool to read over 100 books in a year, I feel like that might be too many because some books seem like I read them so long ago, and it was only a few months, not years. It’s weird, I know.

What were some of your highly anticipated books of 2023?

I get wanting to slow down with books a bit, I used to read way more than I do now. I still set a goal of 100 but only because I read plenty of novellas and comics throughout the year and they let me take a bit of a break from going straight from one book to the next.

Oh! Emma Lord and Melissa de la Cruz both have new books coming out soon? I definitely need to go add those to my TBR. I hope you enjoy all of these whenever you get around to them. I also hope your cough doesn’t stay with you too much longer!

So excited for Kasie West’s new book. It looks fantastic! I read her for the first time two years ago and I’m hooked. Slowly making my way through her backlist. Hope you enjoy all of these!
