I was going to write this post anyway, but since it’s a Top Ten Tuesday Freebie, I’ll use it for this slot! I was going through my reading log spreadsheet a few days ago and realized that I have a lot of series on my TBR that I need to either start or finish. There’s even some I’d like to reread at some point, but I’ll only put one of those on my list today.
Obviously, depending on whether the series has been completed by the writer or is still in progress will determine if I can actually finish one of these series or not. There’s a good mix of different genres (at least I think) as well as whether the books are novels or manga… they’re mostly novels though.

Boarding School Juliet (start)
A manga series I found a while ago at the bookstore that just seems like it’s going to be really good. I have the first two books in the series, but I want to wait until I read them to purchase any more.
Heist Society (finish)
I read the first book in 2021, and I might need to reread it before continuing to book two of the trilogy. In any case, I’m excited to keep going with this series because Ally Carter is one of my favorite authors.

American Royals (continue)
I’ve read all three books that are currently out, plus the novella ebook, and am impatiently waiting for the fourth book to come out. I don’t know if that’ll be the final book or not, but I somehow doubt it’ll be the end (at least I hope there will be more books).
The Summer I Turned Pretty (start)
I mean, I still have to read To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series as well, but I might end up getting to this one first for some reason. I guess we’ll see what happens, but I always love a good book/series set in the summer!

The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel (start)
I don’t remember how this ended up on my radar, but I read the first chapter with my Libby app and I definitely want to read the series! Or at least start it, not sure if I’ll like it, but we’ll see.
Private (reread)
I love this series so much, and it’s so easy to blast through it. The books are highly addictive and I think the last time I read this series, I read three or four of them in one day (it was my day off from work, haha). Plus, I do want to read the spin-off series at some point, but I’d like to re-familiarize myself with the characters here.

Dominions (start)
I will admit, the cover got me. But the synopsis of this book even more so. I already saw the cover for book two and that it’s coming out this spring, so I need to jump on this read as soon as I can!
Emancipated (start)
I’ve had this first book on my NOOK for years now, I really need to read it. Hopefully I’ll enjoy it and continue with the following two books for a full series read.

Your Lie in April (continue)
I went through the first five volumes like nothing, then stopped. Probably because my Kindle Unlimited trial ran out. I might be signing up for it again though, because now that I have a Kindle, it’ll be easier to read them on that than on my phone.
The Book of Tea duology (start)
I purposely waited until after I got my Barnes & Noble gift card for Christmas to purchase the box set (and it was part of the 50% off sale!). So I got two books for the price of one, and I can tell this is going to be a good series. I’ve heard good things, so I’m expecting them!

Have you read any of the series I listed?

I haven’t read any of these, but that cover for The Liar’s Crown has GOT me. Looking it up now!

Right?! That’s what drew me in to check what the book is about too, and it sounds good!

We can’t wait for the 4th American Royals book too. We highly recommend reading The Summer I Turned Pretty and To All the Boys.

I’m anxiously awaiting for the 4th to be announced! Ohh, good to know you recommend it! We have very similar tastes in books, so I’m sure I’ll like them!

I haven’t read any of these, but I have seen a bit of Your Lie in April, the show and it looks pretty good! The Summer I Turned Pretty is also a tv series. I watched it and it was pretty fun. I’m not sure if I’ll read the book though, if anything, I’m thinking I’ll go with To All the Boys.

Part of the reason I want to read these is so I can watch the shows! haha. Hope you enjoy To All the Boys when you read it as well! 😀

That’s fair, although I feel like if I watch the shows, it is harder to motivate myself to read the books. I’m not big on the spoilers.

I still have to read book two of Magic Steeped in Poison – hope you get to finish these!

Me too! I can’t wait to start that series! But I also want to be in the right mood for it, you know? 😅
