I missed last week’s prompt because I was in a weird soft of funk, so writing a blog post was the last thing on my mind (at least until that Friday). Now I’m here to share ten books I’d like to read this spring, either because they fit a prompt on the Gilmore Girls Reading Challenge that I’m doing, or because I just really want to read them sooner than later.
And away we go!

Sense and Second Degree Murder
I pre-ordered this one last year and just haven’t gotten around (*been in the mood) to read it yet. With the third book of this series coming out soon-ish, I should probably get to it, even though it’s a stand alone.
The Liar’s Crown
This one actually does have a sequel coming out this spring, so I should get to reading it soon. It also fits one of my challenge prompts, so that’s another motivator to read it.

Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret
I read this book sooooo long ago, but I honestly wouldn’t even be rereading it if it weren’t for the book finally being adapted into a movie. The trailer looks good, so I think it’ll do the book justice. At least, I hope it will.
New York, Actually
Partly because it fits a prompt for my GG Reading Challenge, and also because it just sounds like a good book. I also love books set in NYC, even if it is kind of overdone.

Taking Chances
This would be a reread, but now that it was reprinted and in stores again for the first time in years, I feel like I’m due for a reread. I mean, it’s been eleven years since I’ve read it, so…
Hot Dutch Daydream
I was approved for an e-galley of this on NetGalley, and since it comes out in spring, I should get to reading it soon. I’m not sure if I’m going to read Hot British Boyfriend first, but I will if this one is a sequel to it.

Hooked On You
After reading Much Ado About a Latte, I’m excited to read the rest of this Maple Falls series. I know there’s only three published right now, but luckily there’s more to come!
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before
I’m probably the only person in the world who hasn’t read this series. Even my mom has read it, and she’s not big on YA fiction. I hear good things about it all the time, so I think it’s about time I get on this train.

You Bet Your Heart
Another NetGalley read that comes out in late spring, so I have some time to get to this one. I think it’s going to be really cute, and of course I’ll let y’all know my thoughts once I read it!
We Can’t Keep Meeting Like This
This one fits the June prompt for the GG Reading Challenge, and since it’s not technically summer until June 21st, this fits for a spring read. I also think the color of the book is very spring-like, so there’s that.

Have you read any of the books I listed?

I’ve seen Liar’s Crown on a few lists this week, and the cover always pulls me in. Good luck getting to all of these this Spring!

I hope you’re feeling better this week.
I read Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret ages ago, but I don’t remember most of the plot anymore. Maybe I should reread it before watching the film as well. 🙂

Thanks! I think my day out on Sunday got me out of it for the most part. Might also be the weather getting nicer too, haha.
You should! I think everyone who read it years ago should if they’re planning on seeing the movie. I know I want to because I like to compare the book and movie 😆
