Unhauling Books – Available on PangoBooks

September 22, 2022September 14, 20221 Comment

As we all do from time to time, we go through our collection of books and say goodbye to the books we no longer want in our personal libraries. The reasons tend to vary. Maybe we know we won't read the book again, the space is needed, or we just feel it might be time … Continue reading Unhauling Books – Available on PangoBooks

Life Happens: Update

July 25, 202210 Comments

First off, no, I'm not going anywhere. At least, I'm not planning on it. I might be less active in the coming weeks, but I do not plan to abandon my blog at all. Two months ago my doctor felt a lump on my throat, more specifically where my thyroid is. So after an ultrasound … Continue reading Life Happens: Update

Top 10 Favorite Christmas Movies

December 17, 20212 Comments

This is my first non-bookish post in a while! Maybe even my first one on this blog... I'm not sure. But, it's December and as I say at work - usually regarding my Christmas outfits - anything goes! Obviously, this post is Christmas related; it's just about my favorite movies that I like to watch … Continue reading Top 10 Favorite Christmas Movies

August Blues

August 25, 2020June 15, 2022Leave a comment

This month has been terrible for me reading-wise. It's the 25th of the month, and I still haven't finished one book (GASP). So... guess that means my August TBR List was a bust. Oops. If I'm being honest, I'm having a hard time mentally right now. It's like anything I try to do that I … Continue reading August Blues

A History of a Bookworm

May 17, 2020January 7, 20224 Comments

Reading is something that I've loved for, well, as long as I can remember. I know that I was reading well ahead of my years before I even started school because I distinctly remember being in Kindergarten wanting to read in class, but my teacher said I couldn't because the other kids weren't up on … Continue reading A History of a Bookworm

December Already! And Taking Questions from Readers!

December 1, 2019June 15, 2022Leave a comment

Can anyone believe it's December already?!  I'm still kind of stuck in September, maybe October.  So much has happened over the past few months and it's just insane that the time has gone by so quick.  I really don't know what else to say about it, ha. Anyway, this is more an announcement.  I thought … Continue reading December Already! And Taking Questions from Readers!

The Dreaded Reading Slump

October 12, 2019June 14, 20222 Comments

Hey everyone!  I know it's been a few weeks since I've posted.  The problem is that I've been in a reading slump.  Either I have not been in the mood to read or the two books I've tried to read in the past few weeks have been meh.  I just couldn't get into them and … Continue reading The Dreaded Reading Slump

Bibliophile Defined

June 5, 2019May 17, 20221 Comment

If someone were to ask me to describe myself, I would first say that I’m a bibliophile (after librarian, of course). It's most likely that you are too, if you're reading this blog. That's probably what brought you here in the first place, am I right? However, when I say this to someone, I'm often … Continue reading Bibliophile Defined

One of my favorite manga series. It’s so cute (and only 3 volumes!). I definitely recommend this one to anyone new to manga so they don’t get overwhelmed😅
A series I highly recommend. It’s 12 books long, but you wouldn’t know it with how fast it goes by. Eye opening and intense is the best way to describe it.
My review for Love on the Brain is up on my blog! Even though I have a bad relationship with science, I enjoyed reading about women in STEM.
#QOTD: Do you read graphic novels?
Already started a book for the #tbrtacklechallenge! Going with the shortest book since I do have to get it back to the library soon 😅
Happy February all! January was a rough month for me personally, so here’s hoping this month is filled with better news and blessings!
