Book Tour – Soman Chainani @ Wesleyan RJ Julia

June 7, 20222 Comments

Yesterday I went to Wesleyan RJ Julia Bookstore to attend a book signing for an author of one of my favorite series. Soman Chainani is the genius behind The School for Good and Evil series which was technically written for the middle-grade age group, but does have a more YA feel to it. The event … Continue reading Book Tour – Soman Chainani @ Wesleyan RJ Julia

Sixteen-year-old Tessa Johnson has never felt like the protagonist in her own life. She’s rarely seen herself reflected in the pages of the romance novels she loves. The only place she’s a true leading lady is in her own writing—in the swoony love stories she shares only with Caroline, her best friend and #1 devoted … Continue reading Review: Happily Ever Afters

As the story unfolds, the struggles of a son born into a large family, the dividing effects of World War II, and the oppression of Christian believers in Communist-dominated countries … Continue reading Review: Called to Serve

One of my favorite manga series. It’s so cute (and only 3 volumes!). I definitely recommend this one to anyone new to manga so they don’t get overwhelmed😅
A series I highly recommend. It’s 12 books long, but you wouldn’t know it with how fast it goes by. Eye opening and intense is the best way to describe it.
My review for Love on the Brain is up on my blog! Even though I have a bad relationship with science, I enjoyed reading about women in STEM.
#QOTD: Do you read graphic novels?
Already started a book for the #tbrtacklechallenge! Going with the shortest book since I do have to get it back to the library soon 😅
Happy February all! January was a rough month for me personally, so here’s hoping this month is filled with better news and blessings!
